Just awesome to see all the weapons he brought to bear. Hatton stalked him in the first round, wanting to stand toe-to-toe with Pacman. The interesting thing is that Pacman’s stance in the first round worried me somewhat; he was almost facing away from Hatton–kinda showing Hatton his shoulder. It was all a ruse to hide a potent hook on the ready to put Hatton away when he got too close. And the really great thing is that Pacman was ready to deliver it with either left or right hand.
Hatton kinda walked into an ambush. Sorry for him because his coach did try to teach him things, but at the end of the day he fought like he always did. And we know what the consequence was. He got KO’d twice in the first round, and then put away in the waning moments of the second round. He crumpled like a rag doll with that wind-up hook Pacman was hiding. It was surprising to see.
Floyd Mayweather Jr is coming back! So that maybe the next one to see. Maybe I’ll get ringside for that. But for right now, Pacman is king and on top of the world! The legend continues…
QS, Pacman is awesome and in my opinion is the Athlete Of The Year for 2009! Take care.
10% luck, 10% brains, and 80% preparation. Pacman can hang on a little longer if he keeps training at the highest level. Mayweather will be one tough test in the future.
