“Super tough or super crazy”. That’s what one person called me lately. I like to push the boundaries sometimes, but am not necessarily that extreme. Been running forever, but racing only since 2006. If you can call it racing. But I do love the 26.2 distance. When I’m not running, I hang out with the triathlon crowd over at Breakaway Training in San Diego. Good cross-training!

I guess I keep a blog to have a place to look back. Yeah, just like a scrapbook of sorts. A little bit of everything, and nothing. By the way, I was educated at a Catholic high school, a Lutheran college, and an Ivy League university. Which explains why my thought processes are messed up.

I’m an expat from the Philippines. I’ve lived in the U.S. for so long I don’t know any other home. I can speak two Philippine dialects. Yeah, I can sing karaoke. I like adobo. But that’s probably too much information.

My screen name is “QuickSilver”. Just the thinnest cloak of anonymity to satisfy privacy concerns at the workplace.

Thanks for reading my blog. Come again!

I live in Southern California. And this blog was set up on March 6, 2008.
